Something worth posting. This is from “The Rule of Four” by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. Jen had me borrow the book after I finished the ever-popular but hard-to-get-a-copy-of (at least for me) “The Da Vinci Code.” Still stuck on Chapter Two though - probably be reading this again during the Christmas break:
“… The magic of Paul’s intelligence is that he has more patience than anyone I’ve ever met, and with it he simply wears problems down. To count a hundred million stars, he told me once, at the rate of one per second, sounds like a job that no one could possibly complete in a lifetime. In reality, it would only take three years. The key is focus, a willingness not to be distracted. And that is Paul’s gift: an intuition of just how much a person do slowly.”
Another proof that, it takes more than IQ to succeed - and something that I always keep on forgetting.
Most people perceive me as cold, insensitive, aloof, even snotty.
What people never knew is that whenever there’s someone I really like (infatuation or otherwise), I can be as kilig as the typical progesterone-overdosed pubescent girl. Ask my brother, he’s probably gotten sick of listening to my mush-filled bedtime ramblings.
Maybe it’s time to find a girlfriend. Not having one is dangerous to your health.

So what’s up? Here’s what’s up…
Sometimes with all the fucked up things happening, you just couldn’t resist yearning to be in a time of honor and chivalry.
Peace of mind is such an elusive comfort.

I’ve been awake for more than 24 hours already. I remember waking up from an afternoon nap yesterday at 4PM (so that makes it more or less 25 hours and 40 minutes).
So how did I do it? Here’s how:

Memorable quotes from Ronin:
Sam: Whenever there is any doubt, there is no doubt. That’s the first thing they teach you.
Vincent: Who taught you?
Sam: I don’t remember. That’s the second thing they teach you.
(At the end of the film)
Vincent: No questions. No answers. That’s the business we’re in. You just accept it and move on. Maybe that’s lesson number three.
