“Life’s a bitch and then you die…”
So what’s up? Here’s what’s up…
- My officemate’s dad just died of lung cancer. Turns out it was already stage 4 when they found out about it. Ironically, the dad never smoked cigarettes and, as my officemate tells me, kept a strictly healthy regimen to the point of hypochondria.
- My officemate happens to be one of the sweetest people that I know of despite the fact that I’ve only known her for just a short time. It sucks to see her lose her dad - her mom died when she was still three years old.
- I just had an argument with someone regarding sexuality on a public forum. Turns out that someone was, as she terms it “raped” by her boyfriend, which became the reason she lost her virginity.
- I sounded like a male chauvinist, arrogant, insensitive pig.
- My dad left for Manila just last week. We had a terrible fight before that.
- In case you guys didn’t know, my parents have been separated for more than a year.
- I’m stuck on a Windows workstation because I had to beat a mid-July deadline for a project and I have to use Macromedia Dreamweaver.
- I haven’t started on that project yet.
- The First Gentleman and Presidential son are embroiled in a corruption scandal involving getting payoffs in illegal gambling money.
- The President herself is also involved in another scandal - this time about an alleged taped conversation to rig the elections.
- I’ll be surprised if she actually gets to finish her term until 2010. I’ll be 30 years old by then.
Sometimes with all the fucked up things happening, you just couldn’t resist yearning to be in a time of honor and chivalry.
Peace of mind is such an elusive comfort.

well, life’s like that. we’re just dodging one complication to the next. things will be alright… ayo2x.

Life’s indeed unfair. Whoever says life is fair needs to get a life.

Peace of mind is such an elusive comfort. –>i have to agree.
but perhaps things’ll turn out all right in the end. if not in this life, then the next. i refuse to believe that we’ve been made to suffer this life for nothing. or am i being very naive?

Life 101 - Several Perspectives
Whoever says life is fair needs to get a life Naive… guess a lot of people are, I may be one on several areas. But that’s just life. You can’t be all, you can’t experience everything, you can’t expect life to dance to…

hehehe. not all pop corns pop. we get disapointd, and blame the store, not thinking the root of it all, wreak havoc at d kitchen and start a bloody… bloody… bloodbath. Hello … garci… r u there ? hah! nonsense! is it a requirement to put sense into everything I say. Life does not follow us, and we cannot follow life, it is unpredictable even with all the discoveries of science. murag exploration comes after discovery. pag madiskubre na nimo ang usa ka mysterio sa kinahubi, mag sugod napod dayon nimo og kakita ang mas dagko pa mga msyterio. Matt, u are one of my greatest influences. ur a great observer…di nako masabtan usahay ang kalawon sa imong pang huna2x, pero dako gyud kag natabang kanako. kulba gyud ka, u r0ck.
