it’s my birthday today. nothing significant - probably just another uneventful day… except that 24 years ago, i happened to be born into this world.
no one (except family) supposedly had to know about it. the only thing was, mom called up the department and asked for a return call ‘cause it’s "my birthday." and the student assistant (s.a.) went upstairs and broke the news to everyone at the lab.

ok, so i’m now 24 but i really feel as if i really haven’t done much with that 24 years i’ve been given. there’s always that feeling of insecurity knowing that other, younger people are probably enjoying more success than you.
other than that, as you may have noticed, this is the day i’m starting my weblog. and no, i didn’t plan it to coincide with my birthday… but yeah, i think that puts some significance into the start of my blogging life.
anyhow, i hope i’ll be able to sustain this whole blogging thing and do away with procastination and not drift again into those recurring periods of "self-nonawareness."
